  1. Provides a 4G internet connection on the RC Enterprise, for fast, hassle free skippy data sync and image upload anywhere.

  2. Provides a connection for network RTK.

  3. Provides 4g backup for the drone signal when scouting fields with terrain, close to the ground - no more signal loss or failed missions!

You will need:

This should also work for the Mini 3 Pro - though it is not tested by us…

Ensure you purchase the Mini 3 Pro version of the cellular dongle + mounting kit

Setup:

  1. Open the back of the RC Pro/Enterprise controller, insert one of the dongles, connecting the USBC and the 4g antenna.
Doesn't matter which dongle if you have two.

  2. Install the dongle mount on your drone, install the dongle, and connect the provided USBC cable to the port on the back of the drone.

  3. Power up the RC and Drone, launch DJI Pilot 2.

  4. With a WIFI connection. Ensure all firmware is up to date - it will most likely prompt you to update the firmware.

  5. On the RC, go into the main settings (for the controller, not in Pilot app).

  6. Choose “Network & Internet” then choose Mobile Network.

  7. In the advanced settings, click on "APN.", then click “Access Point Names”.

  8. Select the Internet “everywhere” APN.

  9. Restart the RC.

  10. Enable 4G in the Pilot app - tap the 4g icon on the flight screen (top right) and ‘enable’ enhanced transmission.
Sometimes it will take a few minutes to register a 4g signal

  11. You should now see it enabled along with single strength.
