You will need to have the latest DJI app installed for your drone also, please install this via the DJI website (not the play store)

Get the DJI Android App

1. Get the Skippy Scout App

image-20240208-152516.png Playstore version currently not available, please download from https://install.skippy.ag via your android device browser to install the app manually.

One you have installed the app, updates will be automatic.

You may need to give permission to install from a weblink in your android device settings.

2. Activate the App

When you sign up, you get a unique QR code, scan it with the app, or save it and open it with the app to activate your account.

Login > go to ‘Activate new device’ > tap and save the QR code image

3. Add your farms and fields

Add your farms and fields in-app. Boundaries for England will load automatically.

4. Make your first flight

For Android, you will need to have the latest DJI app installed for your drone also, please install this via the DJI website (not the play store):

IMPORTANT: Force-close the DJI app before flight

The DJI app will interfere with Skippy Scout during drone operations, it needs to be force-closed so its not running in the background:

  1. Close the DJI Fly or Pilot app

  2. Go to Android main ‘Settings’

  3. Choose ‘apps and notifications’

  4. Find DJI Fly or Pilot app on the list and tap it

  5. Tap “Force stop” & confirm
