APPENDIX A - Primary RP Experience/Qualifications

Jack Wrangham

Over 12 years of UAS operational experience. 

He originally qualified under the EURO USC BNUC-s certification and held PFAW/PFCO certification number 36.

As co-founder and director of Horizon Aerial Photography Limited, he also held one of the first granted operational safety cases, allowing them to operate heavy lift UAS systems in built-up areas, including operating on the set of Transformers film production in the centre of Oxford.

In 2017-2018, as founder of Drone Ag Limited, and part of a drone spraying consortium, Jack operated drone spraying systems weighing more than 25kg under an operational safety case granted to the consortium. 

Jack is now GVC qualified.

Edwin Nichols

Qualified in 2021 under the A2 open and specific categories.

Qualified as a DJI UTC instructor. This involved extensive demonstrations, examinations and interviews on general drone operations, specific DJI Agras drone sprayer operations, and chemical handling.

Edwin gained GVC qualification in 2024.

Alex Macdonald-Smith

Qualified as a DJI UTC instructor. This involved extensive demonstrations, examinations and interviews on general drone operations, specific DJI Agras drone sprayer operations, and chemical handling.

Alex is now GVC qualified.
