Drone connection issues

  • Make sure you have used your drone with the DJI app first - it will need to be activated with a DJI account, and beginner mode turned off.

titleDrone stops/hovers or will not take-off after pressing fly now
  • Check you max altitude and distance settings in the DJI Fly or Pilot apps
    If these are set to low values, it can cause issues, ideally set altitude to over 100m and distance to off or max
    Android remember to force-close the DJI app before using Skippy

titleMy field boundary does not line up with the field

This could be due to a few reasons (you can fix it):

  1. The drones compass may have been incorrect when you made the flight. In the future, be sure to calibrate the compass before doing any flights if you have moved more than 30 miles from you last flight, or if you haven't flown in a while.

  2. Was your field boundary input correctly? Check the map in the app…
