Pre-site:

  1. site survey - off site

  2. check OSC forms

  3. include understanding area for installation meets requirements

  4. charge battery packs (drone, RC and man power supply)

  5. ensure all kit is in stock/delivered to site

  6. ensure any prep work needed is done before arrival

 

On site:

  1. on site ground survey

  2. osc forms

    1. area for installation is ok

  3. prep ground / pallets etc

  4. while base station is being installed, perform RTK mapping flight of area

    1. and setup skippy scout with boundaries/flight routes and flight heights

  5. Place base station, ensure space for drawer to open

  6. place generator cage, install generator and cover

    1. ensure generator exhaust faces cage side (not opening) and that generator access panel faces long side with door

    2. use spare cage door panel to prop open exhaust side cover - attach at bottom and cable tie to cover flap

    3. fuel and oil generator

  7. place battery case

  8. install delta 2 battery

  9. install solar panels

  10. install starlink

  11. connect all wiring and tidy with cable ties

  12. install drone RC

  13. install drone

  14. install 4g router

    1. close case and test 4g and wifi connection strength using Netgear mobile app - if needed install external antennas

    2. configure delta 2 battery and generator wifi connection to 4g

    3. configure drone RC to use 4g wifi as backup internet connection, after ethernet and starlink wifi
